As of today, the clean up coast for the ruptured oil pipe off the coast of Santa Barbara has total $60 million days. That is roughly $8 million today and this for the clean up only and we are not close to being done.
As the clean up cost continue to climb as over 1000 workers continue to clean the ocean and shoreline, expect the damages to really increase when people and businesses that were affected by this disaster start seek damage relief.
In the mean time, we’ll have to see how long it will take Plains All American Pipeline to clean the beaches and return the eco system of Santa Barbara back to normal.
